Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Technotraining website and bookings made with Technotraining.  By booking a training course you are agreeing to accept the Terms and Conditions as outlined below.

  1. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to the Site.

  1. Availability of Training Courses

Any booking for a training module placed through this Site is subject to there being availability on the module. We reserve the right to decline any individual or company, or to refuse any booking onto one of our training courses. All entry requirements are detailed on each course webpage.

  1. How to Book

Once your booking form is received and processed and you receive a booking email from us, your booking in then classed as a confirmed booking and the terms and conditions apply. Although your booking will be classed as confirmed on receipt of this form, your space(s) on the course you have selected will be provisional until full payment has been received.

  1. Payment

Payment of the course fees must be made in advance and should be made at the time of placing a booking or immediately after receiving an invoice. Payments can be made online by credit card or by Paypal. QQI certificates will be withheld until fees are paid in full.

Individual Bookings Full payment is due two weeks before the start of a course. Payment can be made by either Credit Card, Electronic Fund Transfer, Cheque or Paypal. If you opt to pay by EFT or cheque please request the PO/Invoice option when booking.

Company Bookings For new clients, an invoice will be sent to your organisation at the time of booking and full payment should be made a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of the course. If payment cannot be made within this timescale you must contact us in writing to let us know. In the case of last-minute bookings, full payment must be made by credit card or electronic bank transfer on confirmation of the booking.

  1. TESG Funding

Course participants who obtain TESG funding (either full or part payment) will be liable for full payment of fee in the event of non-completion of the course. This payment is not transferable to another course.

  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We appreciate that late cancellation of a course place or withdrawal from a course by a participant may be unavoidable. In such cases, the waiver of course fee remains at our discretion.  Please contact grace@technotraining.ie

  • 5 working days cancellation – Full refund
  • 3-5 working days cancellation – 50% refund
  • 2 working days or less – 0% refund
  • No refund will be for partial attendance

If you are unable to attend a course and have given us the required notice you can re-schedule on to the next available course.

  1. Course Transfers/Change of Date

Companies and individuals may substitute participants prior to the start of the course without additional payment. Technotraining reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any course at any time. In the unlikely event that Technotraining Ltd cancels a course, individuals with confirmed bookings on that course will be offered alternative dates. If none can be provided then a full refund will be given.

Technotraining also reserves the right, if necessary, to vary the content of a training course. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information on the web-site, it may be subject to later alteration or amendment in the light of policy changes, course updates or other constraints. Technotraining reserves the right to change the venue from that originally advertised by providing 14 days’ notice. Technotraining will not be liable for any losses or expenses, including consequential, arising from any such alterations or amendments to the programme content and schedule including cancellation.

  1. Fees Include:

Course fees include tuition, use of all training equipment, course notes and materials, morning tea and coffee and lunch and QQI certification where applicable.

Repeats If a learner fails an assessment, they will be offered the opportunity to repeat this assessment at the next available course date. There is a fee of €40 for repeat exams/submission of assessments

Appeals If a learner wishes to Appeal a mark awarded, they may do so within 14 days of receiving their Final results. There is a fee of €30 for any such appeals. This fee will be refunded should the Appeal be successful.

Submission Deadlines All learners will be notified about submission deadlines for assessments. In extenuating circumstances learners can apply for an extension.

Learner assessment materials/evidence are held for 6 months after the last day of the training course attended. After this time the assessment materials will be destroyed and therefore cannot be used for QQI certification.

9. English language Entry Requirement

If English is not your first language, you will have to be able to read and write in English to a certain level in order to successfully complete this course. Applicants whose first language is not English must have minimum IELTS level of 6 or equivalent for course entry.

10. Liability and Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, we provide the Site without any warranties or guarantees. In particular, we do not warrant that the Site or any of its contents are virus free. You must take your own precautions in this respect, as we accept no responsibility for any infection by virus or other contamination or by anything, which has destructive properties. Although we do our best to provide constant, uninterrupted access to the Site, we do not guarantee this. We accept no responsibility or liability for any interruption or delay. The Site provides content from other sources and while we try to ensure that material included on the Site is correct, we cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case. This disclaimer does not affect your organisation’s statutory rights. To the full extent allowed by law, you agree that Technotraining will not be liable to you for any consequential or incidental damages (including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) or any other indirect, special or punitive damages whatsoever that arise out of or relating to the Site.

11. Use of Material on the Website

For the purposes of this agreement, “material” includes, without limitation, text, video, graphics and sound material, published on the Site. You may download and print extracts from the material and make copies of these for your own personal and non-commercial use only. You are not allowed to download or print the material, or extracts from it, in a systematic or regular manner or otherwise so as to create a database in electronic or paper form comprising all or part of the material appearing on the Site. You must not reproduce any part of the Site or the material or transmit it to or store it in any other website or disseminate any part of the material in any other form, unless we have indicated that you may do so.

  1. Governing Law

The Terms and Conditions shall for all purposes be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ireland. You and Technotraining Limited agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Ireland. The place and performance of this agreement shall be Ireland.

  1. Data Protection

Technotraining’s Privacy Policy details how we use, process & protect your personal information in keeping with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
